Soilmec Drill Rig Training 6/2013

IMG 5495-12Soilmec has a long history of providing first-class training to personnel who manage, operate, and maintain Soilmec equipment.  Soilmec customers get the best value from their Soilmec rigs and equipment when their operators are properly trained.

In July, 2013, Soilmec North America hosted a week-long operator training course for members of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local #825 (New Jersey) and IUOE Local #542 (Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware).  The week-long seminar included demos and hands-on field practice.  It gave trainees the opportunity to hone their skills using Soilmec rigs for microdrilling and large-diameter piling with casing or slurry.

The special training was a collaborative effort between the Foundations Training Academy (FTA), both IUOEs, Cetco®, and American Equipment and Fabricating.  Soilmec North America hosted two similar week-long training sessions for valued Canadian customers in June, 2012 in Edmonton, Canada.
